OUR SOLUTION
Being McAfee’s business based on an ancient science (cryptography) linked with an innovative environment (Internet), we decided to work on that connection, stressing how ancient books and knowledge can foster innovation at Leonardo’s times and nowadays. Therefore we organised a private, exclusive view of some of the most beautiful manuscripts and antique books preserved in the magnificent Ambrosiana Library, one of the most important libraries in the world.
The chief librarian himself showed to the selected group of guests some of the rarest books of the library, including one of the two existing copies of the “De Divina Proportione” by Luca Pacioli, illustrated by Leonardo da Vinci. The special tour included a visit to the armoured vault where the Codex Atlanticus by Leonardo da Vinci is preserved. Being the original drawings so precious, a Fort Knox-like security system is in operation.
SUCCESS
The CEO and his staff were moved by the experience, and thrilled by the possibility to appreciate first-hand the emotion given by the Italian art at its best.
.
It was a truly unique experience for our American guest! He was thrilled to see face to face the Codex Atlanticus! Congratulations also for the entire organisation and the attention to every detail!
